Chia Xiong, age 75, of Fresno, California passed away on Friday, March 5, 2021. Chia was born December 12, 1945 to Chong Thao and Boua Xiong. Chia was a great gardener, and farmer of both land and livestock. Chia was also a devoted mother and grandmother.
Chia is survived by daughter Shawna Yang (T.J.); son Cheng Lee (Yua); and daughter Nhia Lee (Bee); brother Choua Pao Xiong.
Chia was preceded in death by father Boua Xiong and mother Chong Thao.
Chia also leaves behind 12 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
A visitation for Chia will be held Saturday, March 27, 2021 at 8:00 AM at Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 524 E. Gettysburg, Fresno, CA 93720. A funeral service will occur Saturday, March 27, 2021 at 9:00 AM at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter- Day Saints, 524 W Gettysburg Ave, Fresno, CA 93720. A committal service will occur Saturday, March 27, 2021 at 11:00 AM at Fresno Memorial Gardens, 175 South Cornelia Ave, Fresno, CA 93706. A burial will occur at Fresno Memorial Gardens, 175 South Cornelia Ave, Fresno, California 93706.
Serving as pallbearers are Theyoung Yang, Bobby Yang, Bee Yang, William Yang, Pa Vang, Cheng Lee, Zacharia Lee and Jeremiah Lee.
