Daphne Ann Lemmons

Daphne was born on May 24, 1968 in Fresno, California. She joins her mother, Vera Vargas and her sister, Rochelle Hernandez, and step-brother Mark Falcon in Heaven. She leaves behind her three boys, Christopher, Patrick and Matthew, daughter-in-laws Teresa and Rebekah, four grandchildren Kirk, Vera, Kingston, and Sarah-Florence. She is also survived by her father, Edward Vargas, his wife Rosa, and step-sister Jenny Orona. She also precedes her husband Timothy Lemmons and step children Timothy, Trevail, Terance and Tiffany. So many loved her and will miss her, among them are her beloved niece and nephews.

Daphne loved her family more than anything and treasured her time with them. She had a giving nature and worked hard to provide for her family. She is beloved by many; being known for her outgoing, jovial nature. She was a champion of other people’s success and cheered her family and friends on even as she faced her own struggles.

Daphne worked at Save Mart for over 20 years, before needing to slow down due to illness. Even though she daily struggled with pain, she went back to get her degree in accounting. She enjoyed music, dancing, shopping, reading, and watching TV dramas. Her life was one to celebrate and those who knew her, loved her.

A family Recitation of Holy Rosary will be held. One Celebration of Life service will be at Valley West Christian Center in Madera CA
