Debra Ann Lombard

Debbie was born on July 29, 1952, in Fresno, Ca. She attended Lone Star Elementary School and Sanger High School where she was the editor of the Sanger High yearbook and newspaper, a lifetime member of CSF and a Hi-Deb model for Gottschalks Dept. Store. She attended the University of California, Los Angeles where she graduated with honors in 1974. She was editor of the UCLA yearbook her freshman year and a member of Chi Omega sorority.

Upon graduation from UCLA in 1974, she worked for the Dept. of Rehabilitation as a vocational counselor until 1985 when she gave birth to her son David. For the next 13 years Debbie was a stay at home Mom while also participating in numerous charitable organizations, including her favorite charity, Sandpipers. In 1998 Debbie returned to the work force as part of the management team for Anchor Audio located in Torrance where she advanced to Vice President of Marketing.

Debbie is survived by her husband, Steve Lombard; her son David; her parents, Bill and Georgia Cucuk of Fresno; sister Nancy Penny and her husband Tim of Sanger; brother David Cucuk and his wife Marsha of Clovis; aunt and uncle, Barbara and Walter Cucuk of Fresno; and aunt, Pauline Adams of Salem, South Carolina; along with numerous nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.

Visitation and Prayer Services will be held at Stephens and Bean Chapel on Sunday, August 7, 2011, from 12:00 noon to 5:00 p.m. Prayer Service will begin at 6:00 p.m.

A Funeral Service will be held at St. Peter the Apostle Serbian Orthodox Church, 3502 N. First St. in Fresno on Monday, August 8, 2011, at 10:30 a.m. A luncheon reception will follow. A reception celebrating Debbie's life will also be held at the Palos Verdes Golf Club, Palos Verdes Estates, Ca. on Wednesday August 10, 2011, at 11:30 a.m.

Donations in her honor may be made to St. Peters Orthodox Church; American Cancer Society; or a charity of your choice
