Dorothy Frances Brandl, age 94, of Fresno died on Sunday, March 25, 2012. Dorothy, a homemaker, was married 58 years to Joseph, who preceded her in death 11 years ago. They moved from Omaha, Ne, to Fresno in 1959 with their four children, where she has since resided. Dor- othy was active with her church, St. Paul Newman Center and donated much of her free time. She was always smiling, laughter was her best medicine, and had a huge circle of friends that adored her.
Her son, Daniel Brandl, preceded her in death.
She is survived by her sons, David Brandl and Robert Brandl; her daughter, Barbara Hupp and her husband Kurt; sister, Phyllis Gottula of Stei- nauer, Ne.; five grandchildren, Natasha, Justin, Noah, Jeremy and Jonathon; and seven great-grand- children.
A Memorial Mass will be held at St Paul Newman Center on Tuesday, April 3, 2012, at 11:00 a.m.
Remembrances may be made to Poverello House; St Paul Newman Center; or a charity of choice.
