As the children grew older, Eula returned to school and earned a Psychiatric Technician license and later an Associate of Arts degree from Porterville College. She worked at Porterville State Hospital until her retirement.
Eula was a talented quilt maker, creating dozens of beautiful patchwork quilts for her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and other special people. Her love of reading inspired her children to develop a strong love of reading and learning.
She is survived by her children, Marla Yoshida, Rebecca Southwick, Janel Ontiveros, Bruce Tritch, and Kerry Tritch, seven grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred Tritch.
Eula spent her life taking care of people, both at home and in her work. She was deeply loved by her family and friends and will be greatly missed.
