

Eulis William Moss Sr. was born to the union of Iva Mae and Fred Moss on September 23, 1927 in Posey County, Indiana. He was the third of four children, three boys and a girl. He married at an early age and had seven children, 5 girls and two boys.
Eulis farmed almonds and he really loved to work on motors; cars, trucks, tractors. Eulis was a master mechanic and loved the peace and quiet in his garage. He worked for Herman Theroff and Dan Day Pontiac dealerships for years.
His children knew him as a hardworking man. He stressed education and working for a living. He was also an avid sports fan and loved his San Francisco Giants baseball team and was a diehard San Francisco 49ers fan. He loved to listen to books on tape, especially anything to do with historical biographies or sports biographies.
Eulis is preceded in death by his parents, three wives, both brothers, Fred Moss and Buford Moss; his sons, Stanley Moss and Eulis W. Moss Jr, and daughter, Sharon Moss.
Eulis is survived by his sister and best friend, Mildred Carter. His daughters , Brenda Riddlesprigger, Therese Moss and Gayle Leblanc and son-in-law John Leblanc of Fresno and Martha Moss of Portland, Oregon. He had 12 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. He also leaves numerous nieces and nephews and other family and friends to cherish his memory.
