Frances Castello

After her father and brother were killed in an auto accident, she completed high school in three years to help her mother care for her young siblings.

On November 14, 1943 she married Tony Castello and they were together until his death in 2008. She was always working to help make a better life for her family. Frances was quite the business woman running many small ventures. In 1964 she became a partner in Paramount Pest Control serving Fresno and the Valley. She served on many pest control boards and Catholic organizations making many life long friends. In her generousity she helped many people in need with her prayers and generousity.

The family wishes to thank the sisters and staff of the Nazareth House, doctors and staff of 1 North St. Agnes Hospital and Nancy Hinds Hospice.

She left behind her only son Alan and his wife Jo Ann of Clovis, sisters; Marge Nelson and her husband Tom, and Rosemary Ross; brother, Frank Bartucci and his wife Sara; grandchildren Jerry and Sean Castello and wives; four great grandchildren and extended family.

Visitation will be held at Whitehurst Sullivan Burns and Blair Funeral Home on Thursday, June 23, 2011 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. followed by Recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7:00 p.m.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at the Nazareth House on Friday, June 24, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. followed by interment at St. Peter's Cemetery.
