Frank Reo Greco

Frank was born to Frank and Mary Greco on August 30, 1932. He graduated from San Joaquin Memorial High School in 1950. After graduating high school, he enlisted in the Coast Guard.

Frank was admired by all for his love of life and his family, his vibrant personality, and his loyalty to friends. He took pride in each and every one of us left behind.

Frank will truly be missed by all who have had the opportunity to know him. We know he is watching over us now, but most of all that his suffering has ceased and he is walking with our Lord.

The family wants to give special thanks to Dickran H. Gulesserian, M.D., for his outstanding and compassionate care for Frank during his last days.

Frank was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Mary Greco; and sister, Lillian "Nina" Pozzobon.

He leaves behind his beautiful wife, Ida Elaine Greco, of 56 years; children and their spouses, David, Denise Danisi, and Todd; and his grandchildren and great grandchildren, Frank, Santino, Gianni, Domonic, Michael, Gianna, Domonic, and Amica.

Visitation will be held at Whitehurst, Sullivan, Burns & Blair Funeral Home, on Thursday, May 5, 2011, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon followed by a funeral service at 12:00 noon. Interment will follow at St. Peter's Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to Frank's favorite charity, St. Jude Children's Research, P.O. Box 1818, Memphis, TN 38101
