Gary M. Charlson passed away on Tuesday, September 19, 2017 at the age of 77. Gary was born January 2, 1940 in Fresno, CA to Chester and Marie (Fini) Charlson.
Gary attended St. Alphonsus, San Joaquin Memorial High School, and Fresno State.
Gary worked as a Park Ranger and ski patrol in Yosemite. His working career included Sun Maid Raisin, Tenneco, and as a fruit broker.
Gary enjoyed hunting, skiing, playing golf, and the horse races at the Fresno Fair.
Gary was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his son, Eric and wife, Valerie; sister, Bunny Wagner and husband, Chuck; granddaughters, Erika and Danielle.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 28, 2017, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Whitehurst, Sullivan, Burns & Blair Funeral Home.
A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, September 29, 2017, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Paul Catholic Newman Center. Interment will follow at St. Peter's Cemetery.
