George Peter Brunetti

George Peter Brunetti, born in Madera, California, on June 1, 1941, passed away peacefully on February 8, 2026.

George married the love of his life, Patricia Long, on March 14, 1964, giving them 62 wonderful years. Together they built a devoted and close-knit family. He is survived by his children, Howard Brunetti (Michelle) and Marcelle Moore (Brian); his grandchildren, Tyler Moore (Liz), Victoria Rivinius (Jeromy), Ryan Brunetti (deceased), Britney Swillinger (Jack), and Amanda Brunetti; and his great‑grandchildren, James Rivinius, Caden Rivinius, and Izabel Moore.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Romildo and Yolanda Brunetti from Madera, California, and his brother, Arnold R. Brunetti from Watsonville, California.

George dedicated 39 years of service to Westlands Water District, where he worked with integrity and pride until his retirement in 2004. Outside of work, he was a steadfast family man who found his greatest joy in time spent with Patricia and their growing family. Some of his most treasured memories were made during family trips to Tahoe, a place he loved deeply.

George will be remembered for his quiet strength, unwavering loyalty, and the deep love he held for those around him.

A visitation will be held on February 23, 2026, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Whitehurst Sullivan Burns & Blair Funeral Home, located at 836 E. Nees Ave., Fresno, CA 93720, United States.

The recitation of the holy rosary will take place on the same day, February 23, 2026, from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the same venue.
