Harvey C. Lomax, born on July 29, 1947, in Fresno, CA, passed away peacefully at his home on Monday, January 9, 2017. He was kind hearted, compassionate and generous. He was the owner of the former Harvey's Auto Electric.
He was preceded in death by his wife Patsy; parents, Harvey and Mary Lomax; and nephew Douglas.
Harvey is survived by his sister, Charlotte Pecarovich and her husband Jack; sister, Paulette Volpa and her husband Frank; five nephews; one niece; step-children; and step-grandchildren. He also leaves behind his three companion dogs he so dearly loved and who will miss him, as well as all his friends at Uncle Tom's Cabin.
Visitation will be held at Whitehurst, Sullivan, Burns & Blair Funeral Home on Sunday, January 15, 2017, from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m., followed by a Recitation of the Holy Rosary at 4:00 p.m.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Mary Queen of Apostles Catholic Church on Monday, January 16, 2017, at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Fresno Memorial Gardens.
