Henry C Hendrix

Henry graduated from Lindsay High School and was a US Army Veteran serving in the Pacific after WWII. He was employed by Safeway Inc. for 46 years.

Henry married Shirley Grasser on June 30, 1951, in Lindsay, California. They enjoyed forty wonderful years until her death in 1991. While living in Lindsay they had two children, son Timothy and daughter Kimberly. The family moved to Fresno in June of 1960 and have lived there since.

Henry was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley, his parents William and Mattie, his brothers JD and Leroy, his sisters Bonnie Halverson, Mary Hendrix, Wilma Wilson, Martha Chamblee, and Freda Pagh.

Henry is survived by his two children, Timothy and his wife Beverly, Kimberly and her fiancé Steve Weaver, grandson Jason Hendrix and his wife Joanna, granddaughter Brianne Beggs and her husband Patrick, grandson Alex Kajans and his wife Breanne, grandson Brennan Kajans and his wife Kara, and granddaughter Amanda Oliver. He is also survived by great-grandchildren Paige and Allyson Hendrix, Jenna, Liam, and Wyatt Beggs, Andrew and William Kajans, and Hunter Kajans.

Visitation will be held at Whitehurst, Sullivan, Burns, & Blair Funeral Home, 836 E Nees Ave, Fresno, CA. on Thursday April 28, 2022, from 4:00 to 7:00pm.

A Graveside service will be held at Clovis Cemetery on Friday, April 29, 2022, at 12:30 pm.
