We gather with heavy hearts to honor and remember a woman who meant the world to us, our Grandma Irene.
Cancer may have taken her from us, but it could never take away the love she gave, the lessons she taught or the memories she left behind. She was more than a grandmother, she was a mother, a mentor and a friend. Her strength, even in the hardest of battles, showed us what true courage looks like.
Grandma had a way of making everyone feel special. Whether it was with her warm smile, her comforting hugs or her words of wisdom, she carried a love that stretched across generations. She raised us with kindness, guided us with patience and taught us the values that shape who we are today.
Though our hearts are broken, we take comfort knowing that her pain is gone and her spirit is at peace. We will hold on tightly to every memory, the laughter around the table, the stories she told and the traditions she passed down.
Grandma, we love you deeply, we miss you dearly and we promise to carry your light with us always. Enjoy being back with Grandpa, we know you’ll both be watching over us from above.
Rest in Peace, Grandma.
We will love you forever.
