Jack Travis Ogilvie

Jack was born December 21, 1934, in Fresno, California. After serving 4 years in the US Navy, he married his childhood sweetheart Bobbie, on January 7, 1956. Jack and Bobbie shared 68 happy years together. They had 3 beautiful daughters that he was very proud of. He was a very loving husband and a wonderful father.

Jack love music and playing guitar. In the early years he was in a country music band, then later in life he and his wife put a band together where they both enjoyed playing their guitars for family functions and parties.

For 41 years, Jack dressed up as Santa Claus for Christmas and enjoyed giving gifts out of his Santa Sack to all his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was a very loving and caring Papa to his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Jack and Bobbie enjoyed many years of camping and taking their boat out fishing.

Jack is survived by his wife Bobbie, 3 daughters and their husbands, 7 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, 1 sister, 1 brother, and 2 sister-in-laws. He is preceded in death by his mother, father and brother.

Visitation will be held at Stephens and Bean Funeral Chapel Tuesday, February 20, 2024, from 4:00pm to 7:00pm.

Funeral Service will be help at Stephens and Bean Funeral Chapel Wednesday, February 21, 2024 at 10:00 am.
