James Richard Hanashiro

He is survived by his mother Satoe (Helen), brother Robert Hanashiro and sister Sharon Fujita.

James grew up in Fresno, graduating Fresno State University with a degree in History/Geography. James had many talents and enjoyed sharing them with friends and family. His cooking talents will live on in the recipes he shared with many. James was an amazing son that enjoyed sharing his life with his mother for the past 25 years since the passing of his father, Seico. James was able to touch many people throughout his life, helping out at family owned restaurants, participation at church, many years at church camp and working at IRS and Kurata’s Auto. One of his proudest times was when he was a personal trainer at Rhonda’s Fitness, where his great physical strength was matched by his dedication and enjoyment of personal training. James willingness to help any that asked, protect family and friends and always have time to enjoy a good meal will be memories that his family and friends will remember him by with fondness.

Memorial service for James will be at United Japanese Christian Church on Saturday January 4, 2013 at 2:00 pm.
