

She was an accomplished seamstress and made many of the clothes for her two sons James and Thomas. She enjoyed her garden. She was a member of Women's Auxiliary of the Fresno Fire Department and the Emblem Club of the Fresno Elk's Club.
She attended St. John's elementary school and St. John's high school for women. She was a member of St. John's Catholic Church as well as St. Therese and Sacred Heart Churches. At Sacred Heart she was a member of the Rosary and Altar Society.
She ws proceeded in death by her husband, Hugh F. Finnegan who was a Captain for the Fresno Fire Department and her sister, Pat.
Jane is survived by her two sons, James and daughter-in-law Gail of Carmichael and Thomas and daughter-in-law LaDonna of Fresno; and Jane's sister, Katherine. She had two grandchildren, Teresa Finnegan and Kristin Criado. Joel and Kristin gave her three great grand children, Jacob, Keli and Kara. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held at Whitehurst, Sullivan, Burns and Blair Funeral Home on Wednesday, March 28, 2012 from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. Recitation of the Holy Rosary will follow at 6:00 p.m.
A Graveside Service will be held at St. Peter's Cemetery on Thursday, March 29, 2012 at 10:00 a.m.
