Jeffrey Hawkins was born on December 9, 1962, in St. Bernar- dine's Hospital in San Bernardino, CA to George and Joanne Hawkins. He passed away in his home on Thursday, September 15, 2016, under the care of Saint Agnes Hospice, at the age of 53.
Jeff attended McLane High School until 1981. He worked as an auto mechanic for years. He loved working on autos, especially old Dodge Chargers. He also worked for the Department of Agriculture. He served at Hume Lake Christian Camp for several years and attended the Institute of Technology Culinary College.
The family would like to thank Saint Agnes Hospice for all their wonderful love, care and support.
Jeff was preceded in death by his father George; his 18 year old sister Karen; and all four of his grandparents.
He is survived by his mother Joanne; his brother Brian; and his loving son, Michael, who is 21 years old. He is also survived by numerous cousins in Reno, NV.
Visitation will be held at Whitehurst, Sullivan, Burns & Blair Funeral Home on Sunday, September 25, 2016, from 12:00 noon to 3:00 p.m.
A Graveside Service will be held at Clovis Cemetery on Monday, September 26, 2016, at 11:30 a.m.
