Jerrie was a devoted mother, grandma, auntie and "Cuz", as well as friend to many. She was also a fabulous cook. She worked for the IRS where she retired after 24 years.
Mom will be deeply missed by all of those whose lives she touched here on earth, but will be welcomed by all who have passed.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her son, Mike Self; her sister, Sharon Turpin; and her brother, Bobby Moody.
She is survived by her daughter, Jennifer Rogers; her grandsons, Corey and Jarrod; nieces, Debbie Richardson and Marsha Patz- kowsky; Her cousin, Johanna Soghomonian, and all their families.
Visitation will be held at Whitehurst, Sullivan, Burns & Blair Funeral Home on Monday, July 30, 2012, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m.
A Funeral Service will be held at Whitehurst, Sullivan, Burns & Blair Funeral Home on Tue- sday, July 31, 2012, at 10:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Mt. View Cemetery.
Remembrances may be made to the Susan G. Komen Foundation or American Diabetes Association.
