Mr. Jerry L. Bain

He retired from the U.S. Navy in 1971 after twenty years. He then worked as a Sears service technician for 22 years, retiring for good in 1993.

Jerry enjoyed traveling, family camping trips and playing golf. He was loved by all and will be greatly missed.

The family would like to thank the Harvest of Fowler for their dedicated care.

Jerry is survived by the love of his life, Jewel, they would have been married 59 years on July 11, 2013. He also leaves behind daughter, Cathy Volpa; son-in-law, Mike; son, Jeff Bain and daughter Tina Lehn; grandchildren, Crystal Awbrey and her husband Bryan, Mario Volpa, Heather Bain, US Army, Robert Gretsch and his wife Brittany, Greg Bain, Laura Gens and her husband Randy. He also leaves behind great grandchildren, Hannah Awbrey, Braydee Volpa, Jackson Awbrey, Julia Awbrey, Reece Gretsch, Austin Gens and Kaitlyn Gens.

Visitation will be held at Whitehurst, Sullivan, Burns & Blair Funeral Home on Monday, July 15, 2013 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m.

A Funeral Service will be held at Whitehurst, Sullivan, Burns & Blair Funeral Home on Tuesday, July 16, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Clovis Cemetery.
