John Louis Giacone

John graduated from Clovis High School in 1954 and attended Fresno State. He was a third generation Westside farmer for 56 years and highly involved in serving his community. He was a past president for the Mendota Rotary Club, a Tranquillity High School board member, a member of the Firebaugh Service Club, a board member for Valley Seed Growers and an active member of the Dante Club.

John was surrounded by family and friends and enjoyed time in the mountains of Courtright, at the beach in La Selva and at his vineyard in Paso Robles.

We would like to send our gratitude to all of John's friends and family for the love, support and comfort they provided with special thanks to Margo Hixon for her loving and caring friendship.

John is preceded in death by his parents, Margaret and John T. Giacone; and his daughter, Dawn Giacone-Milano.

He is survived by his wife, Carol Giacone; his children, DeEtta Gallagher and her husband Les, Dusty Giacone and his wife Hollie and Dana Giacone-Osborne and her husband Spencer. He was the loving brother to Juliette Hammel; and grandfather to Amanda and Amber Gallagher, Jace Giacone, Gianna Milano and Katherine Osborne.
