

His love of family and his Christian faith were the focus of his life.
John served in the United States Army during World War II, from 1940 to 1945, and was a Veteran of the Battle of Okinawa. He was a resident of
Reedley, CA, from 1947 until 1997, wherehe and his wife Charlene owned Pearce's Dry Cleaners. He was a member of Full Gospel Tabernacle in
Reedley where he served as a deacon and Sunday school teacher. Upon moving to Clovis, he was an active member of Clovis First Assembly of
God.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Charlene, in 2008.
He is survived by daughters, Mary Bryan and her husband Jack of Reedley, and Sherry Pryor and her husband Ken of West Linn, OR; sons, John
L. Pearce and his wife Lisa of Clovis, Dwight Pearce and his wife Margaret of Clovis, and Mark Pearce and his wife Carolyn of Reedley; as well as 14 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held at Tinkler Funeral Chapel on Wednesday, November 4, 2015, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m.
A Funeral Service will be held at Clovis First Assembly of God Church on Thursday, November 5, 2015, at 10:00 a.m.
