

Juan served in the US Army Military being drafted in 1965, serving in Vietnam until 1967 and continued serving his Country for 4 more years.
He worked for the City of Fresno as a Sanitation Operator for 20 years. Later working as a delivery driver for Rafael Tortillas for a few years before retiring.
Juan was also known as “Coach” to many coaching his daughters in Softball and Soccer for many years in the 70’s and 80’s.
Juan is survived by his Wife Margaret of 60 years, his Son John Bermudez, daughter Lisa Martinez & Son-in-Law Patrick, daughter Gordie Ochinero-Bermudez & Daughter-In-law Sydra, daughter Renee Levis & Son-in- law Phil and Sister Rosie Rodriguez. He is also survived by his Grandchildren, Breonna (Curtis), Nicholas( Bernice), Gabe, Kianna, Samuel, Ezra, and Bishop. Four Great Grandchildren, Mila, Wyatt, Madison, and Jamison.
Juan is Preceded in death by his Father Juan B. Bermudez, Mother Dolores Bermudez, and Sister Dolores Quintana.
A visitation for Juan will be held Tuesday, January 28, 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Whitehurst Sullivan Burns & Blair Funeral Home, 836 E. Nees Ave., Fresno, CA 93720, followed by a Recitation of the Holy Rosary at 6:00 PM.
A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Wednesday, January 29, 2025 at 10:00 AM at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church, 816 Pottle Ave, Fresno, CA 93706 , followed by a committal service immediately after the funeral mass at Belmont Memorial Park, 201 N Teilman Ave, Fresno, CA 93706.
Juan was a cherished individual who touched the lives of many through his kindness, wisdom, and faith. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him, but his memory will live on in the hearts of his family, friends, and community.
