Katherine Ruby

She was raised by her grandparents, Henry and Elizabeth Schiebelhut, after her mother's passing. She had many fond memories of growing up in "German Town".

Katherine met the love of her life, John Ruby, and they married in 1938. They worked in the Dry cleaning business and owned GLO Cleaners in Stockton for years. After returning to Fresno, they devoted their lives to serving the Lord and led countless bible studies, youth groups, and musical ministries. John passed away in 2004 at age 93.

A special thanks for the staff at Twilight Haven and Paradise Residential Care's Diane and Katherine's "angel" Mary. Also, thank you all at Hind's Hospice for your compassionate care.

Katherine is survived by her sister, Mildred Friend of Fresno, and many nieces, nephews, and extended family.

Visitation will be held at Stephens & Bean Chapel on Monday, November 12, 2012 from 2:00 - 7:00 p.m.

Funeral services will be held at Stephens and Bean Chapel on Tuesday, November 13, 2012 at 10:00 a.m., with Interment to follow at Belmont Memorial Park.
