Kyle was an easy going person who could make friends very easily. It did not matter what occupation, personality or temperament they had. If you were a friend, he would give you the shirt off his back. In the past, he provided friends with advice, rides, money, and even a cell phone. Friends often called him 'Kato", "Yosh" or "Yoshi" with admiration
. Kyle has had numerous jobs, the current being a customer service representative at a call-in center. In the past, he really enjoyed working with mentally challenged individuals through a social service agency.
Kyle had the knack of learning things by doing versus books. He could do simple electrical work, soldering, and sprinkler repair. His pride and joy was his 2001 Camaro Z28 super sport. He would change speakers, headlights and even replace the muffler.
While provided with guitar lessons, he gave up on them, and taught himself to play his type of music. When he was younger, he enjoyed pier fishing at the coast with his grandpa. Clark Intermediate and Clovis High School gave him a chance to show his skills as a volleyball player earning MVP one year.
Kyle will be forever remembered and loved by his parents, Craig and Amy Yoshikawa; his brother, Cory and his partner Nancy Verde, and their daughter Mikka. Many uncles, aunts, cousins, and friends, also grieve in the loss of Kyle.
A Memorial Service will be held at Lisle Funeral Home on Sunday, August 2, 2015, at 10:00 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you make a donation to the Fresno Betsuin Buddhist Temple Building Fund, 1340 Kern Street, Fresno, CA; or an organization of your choice in Kyle's name.
