Lupe Cabral De La Rosa

Lupe was born on January 24, 1915 in Aguascalientes, Mexico to Guadalupe Cabral and Felipa Gomez. She passed away after a brief illness on July 20, 2014 in Fresno, CA. Lupe worked for many years as a fruit packer in Fresno. She also spent time doing crafts at Matson Towers. She belonged to the Ladies Auxiliary of VFW Post 8900. She was also a member of Sociedad Progresista, Justo Sierra Logia #30.

Lupe was preceded in death by her loving husband, Daniel G. De La Rosa, her parents Guadalupe Cabral and Felipa Gomez, her sisters Marie Acosta and Jessie Quintanilla and her brother Paul Cabral. She is survived by her daughters, Barbara Rodriguez of Fresno, CA and Susan De La Rosa of Madera, CA and her brother Robert Cabral of Fresno, CA. She leaves behind 6 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.

The family would like to thank the doctors and nurses at Community Regional Medical Center and the staff at Valley Healthcare Center for the care they provided to our mother during her illness.

Visitation will be at Lisle's Funeral Home in Fresno, CA on Tuesday, July 29, 2014 from 2:00 pm to 7:00 pm and the Rosary will follow at 7:00 pm there. Mass of Christian Burial will be on Wednesday, July 30, 2014 at 10:30 am at St. John's Cathedral.

Interment to follow at Veteran’s Liberty Cemetery.
