Maggie Arambula

Nació el 8 de Enero de 1984 en Jalisco, México, y fue la querida hija de Agustina Cano Saavedra y Francisco Arámbula Velásquez. Su mamá, Agustina, falleció antes que ella, el 23 de Agosto de 2023.

Maggie se graduó con orgullo de la Universidad Estatal de Fresno, donde obtuvo su título en educación. Dedicó más de 15 años a la enseñanza, dejando huella en la vida de muchos estudiantes gracias a su pasión, calidez y compromiso incondicional con su crecimiento. Además de su carrera como maestra, también tuvo éxito en el mundo de los bienes raíces, donde su dedicación y su manera tan cercana de ser la convirtieron en una asesora de confianza y en una amiga para muchos.

Estuvo casada con José Antonio Chávez durante 10 años. Aunque más adelante se separaron, siempre fueron padres dedicados para sus dos amados hijos, Ethan y Sebastien. Ser mamá fue la mayor alegría en la vida de Maggie. Era conocida por su energía positiva, su gran corazón y su profunda fe en Dios. Siempre dio lo mejor de sí a su familia y comunidad, brindando apoyo, amor y palabras de aliento a quienes la rodeaban.

Maggie deja en vida a sus hijos, Ethan y Sebastien Chávez; a sus hermanos, Juan Arámbula, Jesús Arámbula, José Arámbula, Paula González, Juana Arámbula, Alicia Arámbula y Blanca García; además de muchas sobrinas, sobrinos y familiares queridos.

La velación se llevará a cabo el jueves 26 de Junio de 2025, de 5:00 p.m. a 8:00 p.m., en Whitehurst Sullivan Burns & Blair Funeral Home, 836 E Nees Ave, Fresno, CA 93720. La misa de celebración de vida se realizará el viernes 27 de Junio de 2025, a las 9:30 a.m., en The Well Community Church – Fig Garden Campus, 4545 N Palm Ave, Fresno, CA 93704. El sepelio será después en el Cementerio Católico St. Peter’s, 264 N Blythe Ave, Fresno, CA 93706.

Maggie será recordada por su fe, su compasión y el amor que dio sin medida. Su legado vivirá por siempre en el corazón de quienes la conocieron.

Maggie Arambula, 41, of Fresno, California, passed away peacefully on May 17, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.

Born on January 8, 1984, in Jalisco, Mexico, Maggie was the cherished daughter of Agustina Cano Saavedra and Francisco Arambula Velasquez. Her mother, Agustina, preceded her in death on August 23, 2023.

Maggie was a proud graduate of Fresno State University, where she earned her degree in education. She dedicated over 15 years to teaching, touching the lives of countless students with her passion, warmth, and unwavering commitment to their growth. In addition to her work in education, Maggie also found success in real estate, where her dedication and personable nature made her a trusted advisor and friend to many.

She was married to Jose Antonio Chavez for 10 years, and though they later separated, they remained devoted co-parents to their two beloved sons, Ethan and Sebastien. Maggie’s greatest joy in life was being a mother. She was known for her radiant positivity, kind heart, and deep faith in God. She gave selflessly to her family and community, always offering support, love, and encouragement to those around her.

Maggie is survived by her sons, Ethan and Sebastien Chavez, her siblings, Juan Arambula, Jesus Arambula, Jose Arambula, Paula Gonzalez, Juana Arambula, Alicia Arambula, and Blanca Garcia; and many nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, June 26, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Whitehurst Sullivan Burns & Blair Funeral Home, 836 E Nees Ave, Fresno, CA 93720. A celebration of life will take place on Friday, June 27, 2025, at 9:30 AM at The Well Community Church – Fig Garden Campus, 4545 N Palm Ave, Fresno, CA 93704. A committal service will follow at St. Peter’s Catholic Cemetery, 264 N Blythe Ave, Fresno, CA 93706.

Maggie will be remembered for her bold faith, compassion, and the love she so freely gave. Her legacy lives on in the hearts of all who knew her.
