

She graduated from Kerman High School in 1956. In June of 1958 she married the love of her life, Louie Caglia. She was very devoted to her children and husband. After her children were grown, she pursued her career in banking starting as a Bank Teller, an Assistant Branch Manager and retired as a Branch Manager. She was in banking for over 25 years and retired so she could commit to their Subway Sandwiches franchise.
She bowled in numerous bowling leagues, was involved in school PTA, volunteered at her children’s school, as well as taking them to all their co-curricular and sporting activities.
Margaret and her husband Louie had previously owned Subway franchises in Fresno and Clovis. She was very dedicated to their sandwich business and worked very hard to make them as successful as they were. They sold the Subway franchises when her husband became ill. She devoted her time to caring for him and never leaving his side. Margaret was a loving and devoted wife as she took amazing care of her husband during the years of his illness.
Margaret loved cooking, baking, dancing, traveling with her husband, and especially loved being with her family. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
Margaret is preceded in death by her husband, Louie Joseph Caglia; her parents, Joseph and Mary Barcelos; her brother Joey Barcelos; and her grandson, Justin Dufresne.
Margaret is survived by her children, Cheryl Herrera and her husband Armando, Julie Leonardo and her husband John, Nick Caglia and his wife Sonia, all of Fresno; her eight grandchildren, Jacquelyn Ketch and her husband Bryan, Jerica St. Angelo and her husband Joseph, Jeremy Leonardo, Tyler Caglia and his wife Jamie, Brison Cortez, Jordan Caglia and his wife Sarah, Jake Herrera, and Jessica Caglia; her 7 beautiful great-grandchildren; her brother Diego Barcelos and his wife Joanne, her sister Marie Huffman, and her brother George Barcelos.
Visitation will be held at Whitehurst Sullivan Burns & Blair Funeral Home, 1525 E Saginaw Way Fresno, CA 93704, on Thursday, February 27, 2020, from 8:30am to 9:30am.
Recitation of the Holy Rosary and Mass of Christian burial will be held at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, Clovis, on Thursday, February 27, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Clovis Cemetery.
