Mary Sophia Gutierrez Benzler, loving mother of six children, Richard Mendez (deceased), Marion Mendez Tindle, Betty Hartman Rausch, David Benz, Barbara Guynes, and Michael Brown; 14 grand-children; 21 great-grand-children; and four great-great-grand-children.
The best way to describe her was strong willed, independent, and a loving mother, devoted to her children, raising them with love and affection, providing a good home with lots of gardens, happy atmosphere, and good food.
Visitation will be held at Stephens & Bean Chapel, on Sunday, March 13, 2011, from 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
A Funeral Service will be held at Stephens & Bean Chapel, on Monday, March 14, 2011, at 11:00 a.m.
