Mary was very dedicated to her mother and father, serving as her parent's advocate and caring for all their needs.
She was preceded in death by her twin sisters Theresa Fiatarone and Lena Vuglia, her sister Frances Belmonte, and her brothers Joe Dinubilo and Rocco Dinubilo. She is survived by her brothers Tony Dinubilo and John Dinubilo.
Mary had many fond memories of her childhood, such as riding horses and having "lots of fun." She loved attending Scandinavian School where she enjoyed participating in sports and having many friends.
Mom was very talented at sewing and crocheting. Giving beautifully crocheted afghans to all of her family and friends was her specialty. All of her 18 grandchildren and 37 great-grandchildren have a special afghan from her to treasure.
Hard work was always part of Mary's life. Her parents emigrated from Italy and instilled a strong work ethic in their children. Mary, by her admirable example, passed this quality on to her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
She worked for Kast of California, a furniture manufacturing company, for twenty years until they closed. At the age of forty she started a new career with St. Agnes Hospital where she worked in Central Services. She retired after twenty-five years.
Mary has five children, Lucille Latella, married to Marcel Iczkowski; Angelo Latella; Theresa Latella, married to David Lawson; Virginia Latella, married to Frank Dalena; and Anthony Bernard married to Barbara Hooker.
We, her children, are grateful to our mother for the love she had for us, and the many sacrifices she made for us. She taught us to be honest, moral, to work for a living, and to always pray to God.
Our family would like to thank the Sisters of Nazareth and the wonderful staff at the Nazareth House. We will be forever grateful for all their prayers and loving care given to our mother.
