

Maxine Isabelle Redding was born on June 28, 1928 in Wellington, Texas to Tom and Jewel Redding. She passed away on Sunday, April 17, 2011, in Fresno, Ca. Maxine was the oldest of nine children. She graduated from Dos Palos High School in 1946 and was a graduate of 4C's College in Fresno, Ca.
She lived in San Francisco for over 50 years where she was the Executive Secretary for the Vice President of Nuclear Power at PG&E. Maxine loved traveling and spending time with her family and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents Tom and Jewel Redding; her brothers, Ronald, Jerry and Glenn Redding; and nephews Ronald Blythe and Tully McClellan.
Maxine is survived by sisters, Evelyn Jacob and her husband Bill of Moraga, Ca. Mita Santillan of Fresno, Ca, Ruth DeSantis and her husband Al of Marysville, Ca, Linda Allen of Madera, Ca.; and brother, John Redding of Sacramento, Ca. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews who adored their Aunt Maxine. Maxine was very close to her many cousins and friends and will be missed by all.
A Graveside Service will be held at the Dos Palos Cemetery, Dos Palos, Ca. on Monday, April 25, 2011, at 1:00 p.m.
A Memorial Service will be held at the Peace Lutheran Church, 4672 N. Cedar Ave., Fresno, Ca. on Tuesday, April 26, 2011, at 10:00 a.m.
