My sweet childhood friend Rosalinda, I was sad to hear of your mom’s passing. What a beautiful lady inside and out. I have fond memories of her teaching me how to make homemade tortillas, and my mother and her hosting the school carnival together at Lone Star school. I hope our paths cross again.

When I married Rebecca , nellies daughter , I got a new mother in the package deal. ! I loved her instantly and always enjoyed visiting and talking to her. She was kind and funny and treated me like a son. I will miss her  

When I think of Nellie, I think of her kindness.  She had Rosalinda, Sandy Watkins, and me over to her home one day to teach us how to make tortillas. She was so sweet, kind, and patient with us. We laughed and learned a lot that day!  Thank you Nellie for your kindness shown to so many people throughout the years. May God bless you in heaven for eternity. You will be missed, until we meet again. Praying God gives your family and friends peace that surpasses understanding.

So sorry I can’t be there, I remember lots of fun memories of Nellie centered around food. She loved to feed people, or maybe just me, because she thought I was too skinny.  I remember her patiently trying to teach me how to make tortillas. So simple right? Just throw this and that in, yeah I was not a successful student. Praying for you all as you adjust to life without her in it. May you feel the Lord’s presence, peace, and comfort. 

i will always remember my cousin nellie because we were raised living next door to each other while growing up in malaga. i always thought she was very beautiful.  she was so friendly and outgoing always. i always saw her with a smiling face. we used to play games in our backyard with all the kids around the area nearby. the last time i saw her i told her you are going to live forever because she looked so good. i will miss her because she was such a nice person always. may you rest in peace cousin. i loved you always.
