Noreen Frances Blake

Mom will forever be remembered for her infectious smile, never ending kindness to all, and strong love of family. She always cherished the many times when family gathered, camping in the Sierra, walking the ocean's shoreline, cruise ships to many ports of call, or a crackling fire on Christmas Eve.

After retirement, Mom and Dad became active with the local Pearl Harbor Survivors Association, Shriners, and Daughters of the Nile. During this time, they were able to make many lifelong friends, and create special memories.

Mom is survived by her son, Michael and his wife M.J.; daughter, Judy and her husband Randy Oftedal; her grandchildren, Martin Oftedal and partner, Trent Barry, Daniel Oftedal and wife Emily, Michelle Woodward and husband Daniel, and Chris Blake; great-grandchildren, Blake and Max Woodward, Hudson Oftedal, and Meleena Oftedal.

Visitation will be held at Stephens & Bean Chapel, on Monday, August 30, 2010, from 2:00 to 7:00 p.m.

A Funeral Service will be held at Stephens & Bean Chapel on Tuesday, August 31, 2010 at 10:00 a.m.

Remembrances may be made to the Fresno Scottish Rite Child Disorder Language Center, 1455 L St., Fresno, Ca 93721 or to donor's favorite charity.
