Norma was born in Dos Palos, California to Stefano and Argentina Maraccini almost 98 years ago. She always cherished her childhood in Dos Palos, growing up with her sister Anita Ricci and her brother Julio Maraccini.
Her parents and siblings all preceded her in death and she missed them greatly.
She lived with her husband Joe DiQuirico in the Biola-Kerman area until his death 1975. She lived in Fresno until 2001 when she moved to Northern Virginia to be near her daughter's family.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Jacque and Mitch Thornbrough; granddaughter, Danielle Fishburn; and her grandson Nicholas Fishburn. She is also survived by her nieces, Joan Carey, Kathleen Lawson, Josie Villane; nephew Richard DiQuirico; and numerous great-nieces and nephews.
She is finally coming home to her beloved California for a Funeral Service at Whitehurst, Sullivan, Burns and Blair Funeral Home, on Wednesday, April 4, 2012, at 10:00 a.m. Interment to follow at St. Peter's Cemetery next to her husband Joe.
