Olen Hoyt Williams, passed away peacefully in Fresno, California on March 3, 2026 at the age of 89. He was a US Marine Corps veteran, serving from 1955 to 1959. Olen also worked for Fresno Unified School District for 36 years. He married Norma Grace Williams in June of 1967, and together they shared 58 wonderful years. Olen enjoyed planting and tending to his vegetable and fruit garden, playing pinochle, and was active in his church. He is survived by his wife, Norma Williams, children, Delores Williams and Scott Williams, daughter-in-law Heather Kenaston-Williams, his brother, Darwin Williams, and sister, Charlene Garner as well as his cousins, many nieces and nephews and his 13 foster grandchildren.
His memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 21, 2026 at 10:00 am at New Heights Southern Baptist Church at 6385 N. Fresno Street, Fresno, California 93710. He will be laid to rest at Belmont Memorial Park in a small, private family gathering.
