Paula (Hayes) Keeling passed away peacefully on May 19, 2025, in Coarsegold, California, at the age of 76.
Born on October 30, 1948, in Fresno, CA to Stanley and Dorothy Hayes, Paula was one of four siblings—Pamela, Patsy, and Stanley Jr.—and cherished her family deeply throughout her life. On May 28, 1986, she married the love of her life, Norm Keeling, and together they shared many wonderful years.
Paula’s greatest joys came from the people she loved. She adored being a mother to her daughter Laurie (Mann) Glenn and took special delight in her grandnieces, Emery & Jackie, and grandnephews, Enzo & Calvin. She enjoyed watching videos & seeing new pictures sent of her grandbabies every day. A quiet soul with a nurturing heart, she found peace tending to her rose garden and treasured the simple beauty of home and family.
She is survived by her daughter Laurie and son-in-law Brian, her brother Stanley Jr., and her sister Patsy. Paula was preceded in death by her husband Norm, her parents Stanley and Dorothy Hayes, and her sister Pamela (Hayes) Kjar.
A memorial service will be held at The Fresno Memorial Gardens 175 S Cornelia Ave, Fresno, CA 93706 on June 20, 2025 at 10am. In lieu of flowers, the family welcomes donations in Paula’s memory to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or the Eastern Madera County SPCA.
