Born on June 15, 1946, in Stringtown, Oklahoma, Randall faced significant challenges from the start, as he was diagnosed with cerebral palsy. The doctors were uncertain if he would survive, but Randall’s tenacity and strength quickly proved them wrong.
Throughout his life, Randall was often seen visiting doctors, which affectionately earned him the nickname “Doc.” This title transformed into a term of endearment as he embraced his role as "Uncle Doc" to his many beloved nieces and nephews. He found unwavering support in his mother, Iola, who, along with his seven siblings, provided him love and care after the loss of his father, Jesse.
For many years, Randall dedicated himself to the Arc of Fresno, where he formed deep connections and became a cherished figure in the community. His warmth and compassion touched the lives of all who had the privilege to know him. After retiring, he found joy in attending drag races with his sister Ruth and her husband David, along with their families filled with laughter and togetherness that he treasured.
Randall’s family played an essential role in his life, taking turns to support and care for him through thick and thin. He was preceded in death by both parents, Jesse and Iola Emmett, and his dear sisters Judy Peralta and Ruth Rapp, as well as his brothers Jesse Ray Emmett and John Edward Emmett. He is survived by his brothers Ronnie Emmett and his wife Loretta, Bobby "Pete" Emmett and his wife Tina, and Curtis Emmett and his wife Terri. He also leaves behind a loving circle of nieces and nephews who will forever hold him close in their hearts. Randall's remarkable spirit and the love he shared will continue to resonate within his family and beyond, a testament to the enduring bonds of family and the impact of a life well lived.
