Raymond was born on December 6, 1956, in San Jose, California. From the very beginning, he carried a strong spirit, and took on many roles in his family as a young man and that led to a generous heart he had within, and a strong love for his family around him that would define his life.
He built a beautiful life, Raymond was a devoted husband, a loving father to his two children, and a proud grandfather, great-grandfather to many and his family continues to grow. He found his greatest joy in simply being surrounded by those he loved.
Raymond passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 5, 2026, surrounded by his loved ones—a reflection of the life he lived, always close to family and never alone.
He truly cherished his time with his grandchildren over the years. Whether it was sharing stories, laughing together, or just being present, those moments meant everything to him. He especially loved telling stories about his time serving in the Marines during the 1970s, sharing memories, lessons, and moments that stayed with him throughout his life.
In his earlier years, Raymond loved bringing the family together. He was always on the sidelines with the grandkids sports taking the best photos. He enjoyed listening to music, hosting barbecues, and opening his home to anyone who wanted to stop by. His gatherings were filled with warmth, laughter, and a sense of belonging that made everyone feel like family.
Raymond also had a creative side. He enjoyed building and oil painting model cars, taking pride in the details of everything he created. He was an avid collector as well, with a special interest in coins from different places, currency, and baseball cards—each item holding its own story and meaning.
Above all, Raymond will be truly missed and remembered for his love of family, his welcoming nature, his stories, and the memories he created with those around him. His legacy lives on forever in all of his family, the stories shared by loved ones, and the lasting impact he made on everyone fortunate enough to know him.
Rest in Heaven 🕊
