Ray was preceded in death by his mother, Josefina; his father, Jesus; his brothers, Rudy and Eddie; his sister, Lucy; and his daughter, Nora.
Ray is survived by his son and his wife, Ronald and Anna; his grandson, Andre. He is also survived by his brother, Ambassador, Phillip Sanchez; his sisters, Sally Khun and Lillie Mayorga and their families; and his companion, Helen Castro and family.
Visitation will be held at Whitehurst, Sullivan, Burns & Blair Funeral Home on Thursday, December 6, 2012 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. followed by Recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7:00 p.m.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, Our Lady of Guadalupe Chapel on Friday, December 7, 2012, 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Clovis Cemetery.
