My condolences to Dolores and family....
To Rich, you are not alone up there in heaven you have a couple of Eightballer's with ya, Sisto Arena, Jerry Jacob, Ed Flores. You will be missed my friend say Hello to the boys for me rest in peace.

On behalf of the Gaeta Family from Santa Paula I would like to give my condolences to Delores,Patsy,Nancy and the Avina Family. We lost a great man ,friend. He was one of the good ones.I still recall him playing football over 50 yrs.ago at B.W. school on 12 th St. on the weekends with the guys, he had one heck of an arm,great Q-back ,passer. He will be missed.  When we go thru these dark days in our lives we can take comfort in knowing that  we can dwell on the light that God gave us  and reflect on the memories,joy,laughter and good times we had with our loved ones. Death can never take them away from us. Santa and 12th St forever. God Bless you all. .

I got to know Dickie at Santa Barbara High School 1960's drove a white 1955 Ford with gangster white wall tires, We didn't hang out, but we knew each other. I remember seening him walking up to campus with a lead pencil behind his left ear lol. Than years later I moved to Santa Paula, met up with Gibby Gomez Sr, I mentioned Dickie Avina, Gibby said that's my buddy. My Condolences to his wife an family, till we meet again Dickie!! God bless my Brother🙇‍♂️❤💯

Your love for life made you stand out so vibrant! Your dearly missed and always will be. Love you to the moon and back! So proud of you for serving this country. I am so grateful for you pop and all that you have done to be there for the family ! I will remember your love for music, sports, trips to SoCal and bbq’s at the park . I am so glad we had a chance in this lifetime  to watch a live SF and LA baseball game together because I knew how much you loved your Dodgers, that was a great time with you and mom!!

So sorry to hear about Richard.  He will be missed here at Woodbridge.  It was wonderful getting to know you two, and I so enjoyed Richard's sense of humor.  He always had a joke.  God bless him and he is close to Him now.  May God give  you the strength to get through this tough time.

So sorry to hear of Richard’s passing.   I pray that peace and grace will be bestowed on your family.   Didn’t know you long but I felt great comfort being with you Dolores.  Hugs to you now along with my prayers .   Birdie Nieri, Woodbridge.

I got to meet Richard when he lived on 6th str. Apts. cool guy. Many years ago. There were orher friends of his there too. Mostly all from Santa Paula. Sorry to hear of him passing. A great person for a friend. Damn. That is life.

Dear Dolores & Family.
I am so sorry to hear of Richard passing, man talk about timing..It is said, "Not on our time, but on His"..God had this all planned and it is not a coincidence that he waited until you had moved, so that Richard would be at peace. We all know he worried about you and even though he put on a tough face, I could tell he worried and Loved you. Well God needed him in heaven, so now you have another guardian angel watching over you and your family. I am just blessed to have met him briefly and was in his life for a short period of time and am grateful. I'll see you all on the 24th, God Bless!
