Richard is survived by his wife, Julie Tapney; his daughter Rene Brandt (Brandon Greene); and his son Jonathan Brandt (Leslie Brandt); sister Linda Ritter (Bob); granddaughter Anna Brandt; grandsons Mason Greene and Oscar Brandt; nephew Matt Brandt; nieces Dawn Walker and Roxanne Dockweiler; and in-laws Randy and Debie Walker.
Richard was preceded in death by his first wife, Cheryl Brandt; parents Albert and LaVada Brandt; and sister Judy Walker.
A graveside service for Richard will be held Thursday, June 6, 2024 at 10:00 am at Reedley Cemetery District, 2185 S. Reed Ave., Reedley, CA 93654.
