Richard L. Calderon, 70, of Fresno, CA. passed away peaceful on June 7, 2025. He was born on January 14, 1955, to Richard T. Calderon and Margaret H. Calderon. Richard was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He married Sylvia R. Castillo on August 21, 1976. and together they raised six children. He worked in shipping and receiving before retiring as a custodian from Central Unified School District. Known for his humor, bold personality, and love for music, sports, dogs, and gardening. Richard never met a stranger, only future friends. He is survived by his Sylvia, five living children, twenty grandchildren, and 6 great-grandchildren.
Celebration of Life will be held at Lisle Funeral Home, located at 1605 L Street, Fresno, CA 93721, on Tuesday, July 8, 2025, at 10:00 am. Interment at Belmont Memorial Park, 201 N. Teilman Ave, Fresno, CA.
