Richard Robinson Emmick passed away on March 8, 2014, in Clovis at the age of 89 years. He was born on July 13, 1924, in Fresno, California. He graduated from Roosevelt High School and entered the US Army Air Corps in 1943 for two and a half years. He worked as an electronic technician for RCA Service Co. for over 20 years.
He was predeceased by his father, Harold Emmick; mother Faye; and sister, Virginia King.
He is survived by Gwen Ellen Emmick, his wife of 67 years; two daughters, Carolyn Benner and Pamela Hawkins; five granddaughters; and nine great-grandchildren.
A Graveside Service will be at Belmont Memorial Park on Friday, March 14, 2014, at 2:00 p.m.
