Robert attended Madera and Fresno High Schools. He worked many years for McKesson & Robison, and also worked for The Balloons Warehouse. He spent three years serving his country.
He is survived by his loving wife Virginia, of Merced, CA; his son, Jimmy Ede of Texas; daughters, Roberta Schmittou, Debbie Nicols, Doris McEwen, all of Fresno, and Patty Istre, of Madera, CA. He also had 15 grandchildren; and 14 great grandchildren.
A Graveside Service will be held at Fresno Memorial Gardens on Wednesday, September 24, 2014, at 11:00 a.m.
