I am sorry I won't be able to see Ron again. We met when my family moved to Fresno in 1952. Ron, he was known as "Ronnie", lived just down the street from me and we became fast friends. 

From Fifth grade through our junior year at Clovis High, we saw each other most days.  When I was a freshman his sister, Beverly,  tried to shield me  from sophomore friends of mine who were out to initiate me by "pantsing". I was so grateful they only pulled my Levis. His brother was in my Mom's Cub Scout pack.

Before my senior year, my family moved to Gilroy so I didn't get to see him till a Clovis High reunion. Last year I searched to arrange a get together, how I wish it could have happened because there's so much I'd like to talk about.

So sorry for your loss.  We lived next door to Ron in Clovis for many years.  After he moved, I lost touch.  He was great neighbor.
