Mr. Ronney Dean Phillips

Ronney was born on February 8, 1961 to Bernice and Charles Phillips, in Madera California. Ronney rode out of the world on Tuesday, June 11, 2013 on his favorite purple Yamaha, his life cut short but full of memories. Ronney loved life and lived each day to the fullest.

Ronney grew up in Easton, Ca. where he attended Washington Union High School and graduated in 1979. He met his companion, Margaret Barra in High School and later they were reunited until his end.

He joined Operating Engineers Local Union # 3 and worked as a hot plant operator and oiler/mechanic at Vulcan Materials for over 20 years. Ronney was devoted to his job and formed special, life lasting friendships with his co-workers.

Ronney loved riding motorcycles, and was looking forward to his next ride to Sturgis on his knew black Yamaha. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and dirt biking with family and friends in the desert. He was a shopper and known for collecting thousands of knives and other little necessaries in his travels and weekend sprees. He enjoyed spending time at home putting together puzzles and watching movies but he never missed a family get together as spending time with family and friends was very important to him.

Ronny was an amazing, giving man. His wit and humor will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him but never forgotten as his memories will be cherished and shared forever.

We love you and miss you brother. Ride high in the sky until we meet again.

Ronney is survived by his parents, Charles and Bernice; brother, Rickey and wife Mary; sister, Julie and companion Deryl; son, Andy; granddaughter, Laura; nieces, Jennifer and her husband Jim, Amey and fiancé John, Katie and fiancé Vince; nephews, Rickey, Tyler and Chris; great nieces, Kylee, Trinity, Avrey, Kyndall and Emery; great nephews, Jake and Zyler; fiancé, Margaret; parents, Bell and Ben; brother, Steven and wife Christine; niece Isabella; and sister, Diane.

A Celebration of Ronney's life will be held at the CPDES Hall, 172 West Jefferson Ave., Easton, Ca. on Friday, June 21,2013 at 4:00 p.m.
