She was born July 5, 1931 in Sloan, Nevada. Daughter of Maximino and Soila Lopez, Rosa was married June 6, 1949 to Pedro Diaz Marquez, who died in 1987.
Rosa was a woman of God who opened her home and heart to everyone. Loving and strong willed, she taught the importance of family and spirituality. She loved to work in her garden, winning at the Casino. and spending time with her family.
She survives through her children Ben, John, Michael, Pedro, Daniel Gloria Marquez, Socorro Diaz, Mary Gomez, and her brother Raymond Lopez. With God she is reunited with her sons Robert And David Marquez.
Visitation will be December 17th between 10AM and 3PM at Lisle Funeral Home, Fresno. A service will take place at Christian Temple on December 17th at 7PM. Catholic Mass will be held at Saint Johns December 18th at 10:30 AM with burial at Saint Peters Cemetery.
