He is survived by his wife, Agnes Sakata of Biola, children, Karen and her husband Konrad Nishikawa of Fresno, Michael and his wife Rosaura Sakata of Fresno, Gary and his wife Tracey Sakata of Kerman, Laurie and her husband Santos Tafoya of Fresno, his brother Ken Sakata of IL and ten grandchildren.
Visitation will be held at Lisle Funeral Home on Thursday, August 11, 2011 from 10:00 am until 7:00 pm.
A Funeral Service will be held at Fresno Betsuin Family Dharma Center, 2720 E. Alluvial in Fresno on Friday, August 12, 2011 at 2:00 pm.
