Sandra spent her youth in Fresno. She attended Fresno High School and graduated from Fresno State College.
She started her career as a First grade school teacher. She then spent the majority of her life working in the insurance industry, retiring ten years ago.
Sandra had many interests which included swimming, going to the movies and lunch with her friends. She also enjoyed family barbecues (her rice pilaf is the best!), going to yard sales, reading, exercising (she was very proud that she could leg press 150 lbs. at 70 years old), and gardening. She was quick to help her family, friends and neighbors with anything that they needed. She also loved to clip articles for her two sons.
Her Family would like to especially thank Suesan, Kathy, Bonnie, Hinds Hospice, Dr, Reinsch, the many neighbors, friends and family members for their joy, laughter, comfort and peace. Sandra certainly felt loved by all.
She will be greatly missed by her two sons, Brian and Jeff of Clovis. She will also be missed by her sisters, Bev and Loretta, her grandchildren; many family members and friends.
Visitation will be held at Stephens & Bean Chapel on Friday, March 4, 2011, from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
