Sandy Ullmann

Sandy was born on June 3, 1947 in Fresno, California to the late Ferdinand and Esther Laubhan. She was also preceded in death by her step-mother Hope Laubhan. Sandy was the youngest of two children, raised in Riverdale, California, attended Riverdale High School, and later earned her bachelor's degree and teaching credential from Fresno State University.

She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Richard, their sons Brian and his wife Jennifer, Jason and his wife Hilary, grandchildren Henry and Lillian, and her sister Karen Laubhan.

After graduating from Fresno State and marrying Rich in 1971, Sandy worked as an elementary school teacher for years before leaving to be a homemaker and raise her two children. She loved spending time with family, laughing and always wearing a smile on her face. Sandy was a loving and caring person, devoted wife, mother, and friend, always thinking of others first. "To know her was to love her."

A graveside service will be held on December 9, 2021 at 11:00 AM at Belmont Memorial Park, 201 N Teilman Ave, Fresno, CA 93706, with a reception to follow.
