Sherra moved to Sanger California at three years of age with her parents. Sherra was married to her husband Jerry True for 61 years. She lived in Fresno and Clovis raising her family. Sherra was an extremely avid reader and loved preforming in plays. Sherra was a member of Toastmistress and was a two-time winner of their annual International speech writing and presentation contest. Sherra loved to travel and toured most of the United States with her husband Jerry. Sherra was a truly kind soul and rarely if ever spoke ill about anyone she would meet, all being considered an immediate friend.
Sherra is survived by her husband Jerry True, daughter Dawn Rohm and her husband Dave, son Marty True, her sister Mary Lynn Young, her brother Dean Brown and his wife Freda, her sister Karen Chilson, sister Kristy Easley and her husband Jim and brother Ricky Brown who preceded her to heaven. She is also survived by her grandchildren Laura Leonard and husband Jason, David Rohm and wife Sarah and Kaley Quebedeaux and husband Landon, as well as four great grandchildren.
A celebration of life will take place Thursday, April 15, 2021 at 10:30 am at New Hope Church in Clovis California, followed by a reception.
Donations in remembrance in lieu of flowers may be sent to Break the Barriers or Miss Winkles Pet Adoption Center.
